May 13th - Macon Iron
On May 13th Macon Iron employees submitted posters for the annual safety poster contest. Cash prizes were awarded during the monthly “state of the business address”.
1st prize was awarded to Jorge Pompa (Loader operator at Lower Poplar).
2nd prize was awarded to Harold Curry (Document Destruction at 7th Street)
3rd prize was awarded to Robert Jennings (Supervisor at 7th street)
Honorable Mention was awarded to Lisa Davis and Wayne Billings for presenting a skit about the importance of following safety procedures. Through this as well as other contests Macon Iron employees are able to demonstrate their knowledge of safety issues as well as their dedication to maintaining a safe workplace.
