MACON, GA – – Macon Iron & Paper Stock Co. is proud to announce the winners of their 8th Annual Junque Yard Art Sculpture Contest .

A Reception was held on Friday, March 21st at the Middle Georgia Art Association gallery located at 2330 Ingleside Avenue to present awards. The sculptures will be on display through April 12th. The MGAA gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In addition to announcing the contest winners, Evan Koplin, President of Macon Iron, recognized the leadership of local businesses in their recycling efforts to divert materials from area landfills. Koplin also praised the dedication and leadership of the professors and instructors at Georgia Southwestern State University and Mercer University in the quality of work demonstrated by the students participating in the sculpture contest.

“Fenrir” by Jordan Walker, Zach Highnote, Greg Black, Leigh Ann Colley, Phylicia Corey & Robert Grissett from GA Southwestern State University
